Today's Symphony: 4AM

So in just a couple of short weeks, not only has my belly and the baby grown tremendously (is there any room left? :-) ), but the birdsongs have moved up from 5AM to 4AM! Amazing how things change with the seasons.

Two weeks ago the robins were nesting. Last week their young were in the nest, begging for food, and the parents were working around the clock to feed them and find as many worms as possible. Watching them and their frazzled feathery heads gave me a good understanding of what it takes to parent!

You can see them right in the middle there with their mouths open for food. Three little ones to feed! Well, this week, they have all already left the nest. They are still around, learning to hunt for themselves, and rapidly gaining their independence. Amazing.

It rained for five days this week. The garden is lush and everything is growing wild and crazy! These wisteria (above) are beginning to droop from all of Nature's watering. Some sunshine to dry things up a bit today was just what we needed, and appreciated!

The mixture of rain and sun have been just what Motherwort (above) must have wanted. She is thriving with good medicine and does just fine without human intervention, like all of Nature's Bounty. :o)

Enjoy the end of Spring and the beginning of beautiful Summer.

In Good Medicine,

Mae
